Card source terms
These terms explain where a photocard comes from. They are important because source often affects value, rarity, and how collectors organize sets.
- Album photocard: a card included as part of an album package.
- POB: pre-order benefit, usually linked to a shop or pre-order period.
- Lucky draw: card from a limited purchase event or campaign pool.
- Event card: card tied to a fan sign, pop-up, tour, broadcast, cafe, or campaign.
Collection workflow terms
These terms describe how collectors organize goals, progress, and missing cards.
- Bias: the member a fan especially likes or prioritizes collecting.
- Wishlist: cards a collector wants to find, buy, or trade for.
- Duplicate or dupe: an extra copy of a card already owned.
- Template: a visual checklist used to track a set, era, member, or album.
Trading terms
These terms appear often in Instagram, X, Discord, and marketplace trade posts.
- WTT: want to trade.
- WTS: want to sell.
- WTB: want to buy.
- Proof: evidence of past trades, packing, mailing, or card condition.
- Sleeve and top loader: common protection used when mailing photocards.
How to use glossary terms in Bibliocards
The glossary is most useful when it becomes a consistent tracking habit. Use precise terms for card type, source, member, album, condition, wishlist priority, and duplicates.
- Search your tracker before purchases and trades.
- Label POBs, lucky draws, and event cards clearly.
- Keep duplicate cards visible so they are ready for trade planning.
